We are a church family found in Kirwan, Townsville. While we meet in a central location, we are simply a community that loves Jesus, people, food, fun, serving the community, and living life to the fullest.

We are called the “Church of Christ” because we want people to know about our desire to be members of Christ’s church. It also tells the world that Christ, and not man guides us.
At the Townsville Church of Christ we worship God according to the guidance we have received and understood from the bible. Our worship is simply about praising God, learning about Him and thanking Him for what He has done for us. We desire to spread His good news to all those around us, so that they can know about our Lord and Saviour.

We are a congregation of people from various walks of life who all seek to be followers of God - nothing more, nothing less.
As a group of believers we desire unity that is based on the Bible and not on human desires or beliefs. We don’t think that the Bible has mistakes; it is God's word, left for us so that we can know and believe Him. It is our “love letter” or “instruction manual” left to share the message of God’s love and his desire to have a close relationship with us.
